- Develop detailed plans of cyber operations (cyber ops) and leads teams in executing the plans
- Communicate complex information, concepts, and ideas through verbal, written, or visual means
- Develop plans for how to handle potential cybersecurity crisis
- Use policy expertise to help develop, negotiate, and staff action plans for cyber ops
- Identify cyber intelligence gaps and shortfalls for cyber operational planning
- Document “lessons learned” that convey the results of events and/or exercises
- Maintain situational awareness of cyber-related intelligence requirements
