Common Job Duties:

• Develop and implement an organization’s information security program to ensure their data remains secure
• Anticipate, assess, and actively manage new and emerging threats
• Respond to data breaches and other security incidents
• Develop policies and procedures to protect enterprise communications, systems, and assets from internal and external threats
• Work with other departments to align security initiatives with business goals
• Identify security objectives and metrics, and establish secure business and communication practices
• Communicate complex security concepts to both a technical and non-technical audience
• Have a strong understanding of information technology and security and research potential cyber threats and future cybersecurity technology
